Welcome to the 2026 golfing season at Pheasantback Golf Course. We are excited to announce our new Junior Golf League, starting Sunday, June 14th and will run throughout the summer months until Monday, August 31st. Pheasantback’s PGA of Canada professionals will offer young golfers an opportunity to improve their skill development in a fun-oriented atmosphere. Our CPGA professionals are passionate golfers who have obtained their NCCP National Coaching certification program, CPGA Teaching & Coaching Certification Program and Safe Sport Training. Our instructors will help with golfing fundamentals including grip, stance, swing motion and technique. Your junior will have an opportunity to meet new friends and share their love for the game while ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all junior golfers.
The Pheasantback Junior Golf League will be scheduled for Sunday evenings at 6:00pm or Monday mornings at 10:00 AM, starting Sunday, June 7th and running throughout the summer until Monday, August 31st. Parents can select either Sunday evening or Monday morning's for their junior’s golf dates. League dates are as follows;
- Sunday League Sessions Dates are June 7th 14th & 28th, July 12th, 19th & 26th, August 9th, 16th, & 23rd.
- Monday Morning League Sessions are scheduled for June 29th, July 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th, August 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st.
- You can pick and choose any 9 of these dates to accommodate your summer schedule!
- This League is for Junior Golfers between the ages of 8 -17.
There will be a total of 9 sessions this summer, and each session will cost $30 per junior. ($270.00 value, early bird fee of $250 if registered by May 1st)
Entry Fee includes:
- 9 League Sessions on either Sunday Evening or Monday Mornings.
- Each League Session is 90 minutes.
- 9 Group Lessons (Swing lessons and Short game lessons) prior to golfing. Group lessons will take place on our driving range before the 3-hole golf challenge. During this time, juniors will receive an overview of swing techniques, course management and golfing etiquette.
- Putting and chipping practice will follow the driving range lesson, where your junior will receive coaching on alignment, distance control, short game technique and reading greens.
- Golfing!!! Each league session your junior will head out onto the course with Pheasantback's CPGA Golf Professionals. While on the course your junior will play 3 holes while receiving on-course instruction.
- Lunch/ Supper and cool down/ wrap-up: Lunch or Supper is provided at the Pheasantback Clubhouse. During this time your junior golfer will receive end-of-day feedback to review what each junior will work on moving forward.
The junior golf league offers junior golfers of all levels an opportunity to grow skill development, enjoy fun competitions and a safe place for juniors to build relationships with new golfers and to practice and learn the game of golf, as well as play golf with local CPGA Professionals in a fun, safe and controlled environment.
Upon arriving at the Pheasantback Golf Course, the registration will take place in the Pheasantback ProShop where your junior golfer will meet with our professional staff and coaches. If a league day is cancelled due to weather, the session will be made up at a later date.
