Jolly Hogger Curling Club The Jolly Hogger Curling Club is a paper club that aims to support curling worldwide through camaraderie, community, fellowship and fun.

Jolly Hogger Curling Club by-laws

Members of the Jolly Hogger Curling Club have
—unintentionally hogged a rock during a game;
—bought their offended team a pitcher or round of the team’s choice;
—curled outside of their state & their curling club;
—been invited aboard by a Jolly Hogger member in good standing. The Jolly Hoggers are about supporting curling worldwide through camaraderie, community

, fellowship and fun. Therefore, in addition to the invitation by a member in good standing to join the JHCC, there is the required purchase of a pitcher or round of the offended team’s choice. In the same spirit of fun, photographic evidence of broomstacking and of participation in an international event is encouraged. Submission of a photo to the website grants the JHCC permission to publish it. A member in good standing may provisionally invite a potential member – who has either unintentionally hogged a stone or curled internationally – on the condition that the other requirements be filled within two years.

Just not gonna be the same!

Curling Canada wishes Vic Rauter the very best in his future, with his retirement from TSN announced today. 🎙️

We all have mixed emotions — we’re sad that he won’t be around to “make the final” after this season, but we are happy for him as he moves into retirement after a brilliant, iconic career. He has been the voice of curling in Canada and around the world for more than 40 years, and it has been a privilege to be a part of it with Vic and the entire TSN team.

Thank you, Vic, for everything you have done for our sport!
