Carol’s Bar

Carol’s Bar in Standard is more than just a local gathering spot… It’s a hub of community spirit and generosity. Hosting curling bonspiels, family dinners, and birthday celebrations, Carol’s Bar actively supports the Standard Rosebud Arena and Agricultural Society, contributing to events like Skate Days, Hockey in Standard, and Baseball Days. Beyond business, nominators say the owner volunteers at nearly every local event, creating games for children during hockey games and offering a safe space for teens to gather.
