We had the opportunity to stop by and chat with the team this week about the impact this funding will have on our organization and the role curling continues to play in bringing people together in our community.

Support like this helps us continue investing in programs, events, and opportunities that make curling accessible and enjoyable for participants of all ages and skill levels.

This past weekend, a group of members, board representatives, Curling Canada, and community partners came together to participate in a strategic planning session for St Marys Curling.

Over three days, we had some great conversations about where we've been, where we are today, and where we'd like to go as an organization over the next several years. The discussions covered everything from membership growth and programming to facilities, volunteerism, community engagement, and long-term sustainability.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and share their perspectives. The diversity of experiences and viewpoints in the room made for thoughtful and productive discussions.

We're now working with our facilitators to consolidate the ideas, priorities, and themes that emerged throughout the session into a formal strategic plan. More details will be shared in the coming months as we finalize the plan and identify the key priorities that will help guide St Marys Curling into the future.

Congratulations to Amie on this well-deserved recognition from the Town of St. Marys!

For many years, Amie has been a familiar face around our curling facility, serving as a former manager, dedicated volunteer, passionate curler, and outstanding ambassador for our sport. Her enthusiasm, leadership, and commitment have helped introduce countless people to curling and have made a lasting impact on our community.

Thank you, Amie, for everything you have done for curling in St. Marys and for helping make our community a better place. We couldn't think of a more deserving recipient. Congratulations, Amie!

At last week’s Recreation and Leisure Advisory Committee meeting, three inductees were selected for the Sports Wall of Fame in recognition of their achievements and outstanding accomplishments in sports in the community.

This year’s inductees include:

Congratulations to this year’s inductees! The successful inductees will be celebrated this fall.

We ended our season acting like a bunch of fools at the 4th annual Fools Spiel. Great fun had by all and an amazing way to celebrate the end of the curling season!

We kicked things off last night and the Competitive League playoff picture is already starting to take shape…Now it’s time to turn it up.

Join us this weekend for some great curling, big shots, and high-stakes games as teams battle it out for the title. With both A-Side and B-Side action, there’s something to watch all weekend long with the big finals coming at 7pm on Saturday.

This past weekend we welcomed men's teams from all around the region to the 9th Annual Wellington Brewery Men's Bonspiel. It was another great day filled with fun and come awesome curling. Thanks to all who came out to support.
