The countdown is on!

Priority registration for RESTART 2027 opened today, August 26, giving members of my e-newsletter community an early opportunity to secure their spots for what promises to be another incredible weekend of modern line dancing in Halifax, Nova Scotia — June 24–26, 2027!

The country music world has lost an icon. 🤍

As a country line dance instructor and country music enthusiast, Dolly Parton has always meant so much more than the music, my mother and father danced the kitchen with me on their feet to her music. She paved the way for female country singers and songwriters around the world.

From all of us at KICC, thank you for the music, the stories and the trail you blazed.

Rest easy, Dolly. Your music will live on, and we’ll keep dancing. 🤍
