St. John's Tennis Association In summer, also play on the 6 outdoor courts at our Riverdale location. SJTA operates two facilities in St.

Play at Green Belt, our Indoor facility with 7 tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts, plus a clubhouse with change rooms, lockers and shower facilities for players. John’s, NL: Green Belt Tennis Club, an inflatable structure housing 7 indoor tennis courts, 6 indoor pickleball courts and a clubhouse with showers and changing facilities, and Riverdale Tennis Club, a summer outdoor facility with 6 courts and a clubhouse.

The first step is here.

If you plan to compete in the 2026 NL Games tennis event, you must complete the Intent to Participate Form to be eligible for regional tryouts. The event will take place August 12–15, 2026.

This form is required for all players planning to participate in regional tryouts.

🎾WHAT A WEEKEND🎾

The fourth annual Jack Hurley Memorial Cup was a huge success. We had a record breaking 93 players this weekend! We saw three set thrillers, big comebacks, and long, gruelling rallies on the courts. Congratulations to all of our winners.

🎾 Registration is NOW OPEN for our Tennis Programs!

We’ve got something for everyone—once/week and twice/week options, with programs for all ages and skill levels. Adult program registration is also open, welcoming players of all abilities to get on court this season.

Spots fill quickly, so be sure to register early! If your preferred program is full, always join the waitlist—we do our best to accommodate.

🎾 Save the Date!

The Jack Hurley Memorial Cup returns to Green Belt April 23–26.

This special event brings together players from across the province for a great weekend of tennis and community, while also remembering Jack Hurley, who was near and dear to the tennis community and whose passion for the sport continues to be celebrated through this event.

Registration details will be released later this month, so stay tuned!
