🏏 RED BALL TOURNAMENT 2026 – ROUND-ROBIN STAGE RECAP 🏆
The round-robin stage of the Cricket NL Red Ball Tournament has officially come to an end, with six teams competing for a place in the grand finale. Each team played five matches, making for an exciting competition throughout the tournament.
After five rounds of cricket, Sher-E-Punjab and Indian Strikers have secured their places in the final, finishing at the top of the points table with 8 points each.
THE FINALISTS
Sher-E-Punjab – 1st Place
Sher-E-Punjab finished the round-robin stage at the top of the table, winning four of their five matches and collecting 8 points. With an impressive net run rate of +3.308, they secured first place and a spot in the final.
Indian Strikers – 2nd Place
Indian Strikers also had an outstanding tournament, winning four of their five matches and finishing with 8 points. With a net run rate of +2.585, they secured second place and will face Sher-E-Punjab in the final.
ROUND-ROBIN STANDINGS
3rd – Kerala CC
Kerala CC finished third with 3 wins and 2 losses, earning 6 points. Despite finishing level on points with Clarenville, their net run rate of -0.309 placed them ahead.
4th – Clarenville
Clarenville also recorded 3 wins and 2 losses, finishing with 6 points and a net run rate of -0.504.
5th – Panjab Warriors
Panjab Warriors finished fifth with 1 win and 4 losses, collecting 2 points. They recorded a net run rate of +0.578.
6th – Golden Maples
Golden Maples completed their five matches without a win and finished the tournament with 0 points.
