Concussion Care at Xtreme Training 🧠

At Xtreme Hockey and Xtreme Training, athlete safety and long-term health are our top priorities. Through our partnership with Attain Physiotherapy & Sport Performance Centre, we are proud to offer comprehensive, evidence-based concussion management and rehabilitation on-site at our Paradise location.

While this care is a vital part of our strict player safety and Return-to-Play protocols, these specialized services are open to both Xtreme athletes and members of the general public.

Available services provided on-site by Chiropractor Dr. Jillian Holden include:
• Baseline Testing: Vital pre-season cognitive and physical function tracking.
• Acute Assessment & Diagnosis: Prompt evaluation following a suspected head injury.
• Individualized Treatment: Targeted vestibular, ocular, and physical rehabilitation.
• Supervised Return-to-Sport/Activity Protocols: Safe, multi-stage physical exertion programming.

Whether you are a competitive athlete looking to get back on the ice, or a member of the community recovering from an injury, elite care is available right under our roof.

Programming includes Baseball with Premier Sports Academy Inc., Boxing with NL Boxing, Cheerleading with Cheer Sport Sharks Newfoundland, Dance with The Dance Academy, Hockey with Xtreme Hockey, Soccer with Pro Touch Academy, and Volleyball with The Courthouse Volleyball Centre.

Every program includes school pickup, transportation to facilities, and 1.5 hours of structured training led by the top coaches in the city — all built into one seamless experience.

SAE Academy NL is designed to be flexible, giving your child access to elite development on the days that work best for you.

Programs are open to children in Grades 3 to 6, with the exception of Cheerleading, which welcomes participants from Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Xtreme is deeply saddened to hear about the passing Jimmy O’Toole. Jim was always willing to provide a hand, whether it be on the bench as a coach, or as a First Responder. He carried a positive demeanour that was contagious to those around him.

Our thoughts are with the O’Toole family during this difficult time. Thinking of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
