The days are getting shorter, and you might be feeling it a little more lately. The mornings take longer to brighten, and the evenings settle in early.

If your energy feels lower than usual, that’s okay. This is a natural time of year to slow down, rest a little more, and go easy on yourself.

Here are a few soft reminders for the darker months. Keep them close for the days that feel a little heavier.

Save this for when you need it 🤍

A little reminder that Pilates is on our schedule every week 🤍

Our Pilates classes are all drop-in, so you can come whenever it fits your week.

🪻 Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30pm
🪻 Sundays, 10:30-11:30am

Mat Pilates is a low-impact class that focuses on core strength, stability, and mobility. Using just your body and the mat, you’ll move through intentional exercises that support better posture, balance, and overall mind-body awareness.

You’ll be gently guided through each class, with room to find a pace and variation that feels right for your body.

All levels welcome.

Book a drop-in through the link in our bio. We’d love to see you on the mat.

A few gentle reminders for the season we’re in 🌿

Nothing in nature blooms all year, and neither do we. Some seasons are for growing, and some are for resting.

If things have felt slower lately, you’re not falling behind. Growth takes time, and it doesn’t always look like progress from the inside. The heavy days count too. They’re part of the whole picture, not proof that something is wrong.

So maybe this week, go a little easier on yourself. Take the slower walk. Leave one thing for tomorrow. Choose the quiet moment over the rushed one. 🤍

There's still time to join Qi Gong: Mindful Movements, our autumn series starting Saturday, October 17 🍂

Join Angela Lily for a four-week series of gentle, flowing movement rooted in the traditional healing art of Qi Gong (Chee-Gong).

This season's practice focuses on the meridians, organ systems, and elements of autumn, helping your energy settle and turn inward as the weather cools. Through easeful movement, breathwork, visualization, and sound, you'll cultivate relaxed strength, support your body through the seasonal shift, and replenish your vitality for the colder months ahead.

🗓️ Saturdays at 9:30am, October 17 to November 7

Spaces are limited in this small-group series. Register through the link in our bio.

October is here, and so is the invitation to slow down. Light a candle, wrap up in something warm, and give yourself permission to soften into the season. 🍂🤎

Today, we pause to remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors, and reflect on the lasting impacts of residential schools.

Truth, remembrance, and learning are part of the work of reconciliation. May we continue to listen, learn, and make space for Indigenous voices—not only today, but every day.
