Appreciating the team of sponsors that get us off the ground every season!

GraF Sports Collectibles is where you go to get your sports collectibles and signed memorabilia at the best prices!

JB Rainsberger; At www.jbrains.ca, professionals at any level in the software development world can consult with JB and tackle the deeper concepts that drive your results. JB is also the brand new proprietor of

Minnedosa Bowl/Gutters Pizza who, according to their last post, are serving Alfredo pizza as today's special and I really want some :D and finally

Plaza Bowl hosts YBC, adult leagues, and tournaments. It's also where you get the best pizza in St. John's. It means so much that Jamie Peddle has donated us the use of a portion of St. John's' largest bowling alley. Without the space, the logistics of bowling in 5PU could have been very stressful; we enjoy bowling so much that it almost goes for granted the generosity we benefit from.

To each of you personally, and to all our fans:

Thank you!

There were three letters everyone feared on the old Brunswick 2000 scoreboards: VEL

Vanessa Elliot-Lynch. She needs no introduction. She's been to countless YBC and Youth Challenge nationals and won several times. She's made NBT cuts and a championship. She's got 400+ singles and 1000+ triples.

She's got textbook form. She's got phenomenal mental game. You're going to be seeing a lot more Vanessa in the future.

We're incredibly pleased to have her on the team this year.

We had four amazing seasons with Katie being a huge asset to our team, but she has decided to roll away off the rock.

We wish her well on her journey. It will be honour to compete against Katie in the future. Hopefully we can still get Elaine and Art and Janet coming to our games (and maybe Sean sometimes too)!

But this means RNR MKII was a short lived line-up. What's in store for RNR MKIII?

Are we bowling with 7? Are we cloning Courtney?

Stay tuned!

Today marks a major turning point for our team as we say goodbye to one of our longest-serving and most dedicated staff members. Today was Katie’s last shift!

Katie was practically raised at the lanes. With her father being a competitive champion and her grandparents running the YBC program, she was destined for bowling greatness. From bowling before she could barley stand, to winning National Gold right here on home soil (lane 27/28) to spending the last 8 years taking care of everyone here—if you’ve visited the lanes, you’ve definitely seen her face!

Now, she’s moving across the country for new endeavours. Katie, thank you for everything you’ve done here, we love and support you endlessly, and you will always have a home here.
- love your plaza fam ❤️
