🧗♀️German Face Rock Climbing with the ACC:Saturday, Oct. 10th at 10am
Details:Join GOS and the Alpine Club of Canada NL for a top roping event near CBS! We will hike into the crag together at 10 am but join anytime you can, whether experienced or new to the idea. Click here to sign up!
🌳Fogarty’s Wetland & Long Pond Walk: Sunday, October 18th at 9:30am
Details: Meet us at The Whale Atrium in CSF for a beginner-friendly 5 km walk through Fogarty’s Wetland and around Long Pond. If you’re new here, this is a good event to meet members and enjoy the fresh air! No sign up, but walking shoes and a water bottle are a good idea. Rain or shine!
🗓️Monthly Planning Meeting: Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 1pm
Details: For any members who want sneak peaks for the next month’s events or to help host their own, we will be meeting at The Breezeway inside the UC bus terminal to chart November’s course. Catch ya for a pint?
🌊Freshwater Bay Hike:Saturday, Oct. 24th at 10am
Details: Come with us to see grand 180m sea cliffs, carnivorous plants, and more on the East Coast Trail! Plan for 4-6 hours with a backpack, water, and food! This is a beautiful slice of the Rock and we are happy to return.
