Quest Outdoor Pursuits

Quest Outdoor Pursuits The Adventure Club is focused on getting students out of the all too familiar routines of scholastic In the fall of 2007, four men had a vision. A vision of fun.

A vision of shred. A vision of epic adventure unparalleled by any person, club, or astronaut alive today; and it was with this vision that the Quest University Adventure Club was forged. Now, the purpose of The Adventure Club is to provide a means for students to explore the natural splendor that beautiful British Columbia has to offer. We aim to make the outdoors accessible to all Quest students by meeting them where they're at and running as many fantastic trips and events as possible!

Photos from the Tofino Beach Clean

October 26th the Ucluelet Secondary School Surfrider Youth club partnered with QUEST university for a youth-led remote clean-up on Radar Beach! 25 young people, 6 hours, and tons of sweat, mud, and hard work later an incredible 132lbs of debris was hauled off of the beach and up the challenging trail. The number 1 trash trend for the day was styrofoam, of which we removed a whole supersac (1000 litres)! We also found 116 single-use clear plastic bottles: a poignant reminder how, as individuals, our day to day choices matter: refuse single-use, and demand systems change!

None of this work would be possible without the incredible support of our dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors to Surf - thank you so much!

REPOST...We have PUSHED the date for applications to the 29th!!!!!

Greetings Quest Community,

It is that time of year again! We are currently in the process of recruiting Quest Adventure Club Leaders. The only requirement is that you have a WFA (if you can get this before September then feel free to apply) * certification or more. We are looking for individuals who are stoked to spend time in the beautiful woods that we are so lucky to have in our backyard.

By organizing a range of single day, multi day, on and off-campus activity we hope to increase the accessibility of this playground for Quest students of all physical abilities, experience levels and economic standings. As a club, we strive to create a sense of community among our participants. Further, we follow and teach Leave No Trace (LNT) principles on each backcountry trip. As guests on the land we aim to foster stewardship for the environments in which we travel and strive to respectfully acknowledge the unceded Indigenous territories on which we recreate.

Please have applications in by March 29th! Once the applications are in there will be an interview process. If there are any further questions, please feel free to send us an email or a facebook message.
