Have you wanted to ask health questions from a real human rather than turn to Google or AI?

This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions from real doctors who are experts in their fields.

Join us on Sunday for Hatha and Health talks with Dr. Nicola Bennet .nicola_bennet_nd and Dr. Mikaila Brown .mikailabrown.

This week's topic will be on rest and regulation, how to unlock your body's own healing mechanisms.

We start with a 45-minute Hatha practice led by Nicola, followed by a short discussion and then plenty of time for Q&A.

Sign up through our schedule using a regular membership, punch pass, or drop-in!

Join us for Kirtan tomorrow!

Kirtan is more than just singing together. It is a sound meditation where your own voice becomes the anchor.

It is a way of collectively amplifying our resonance, clearing the mind, and tuning into the deeper layers of self.

Meet one of our beloved teachers, Liz Marleau , who has been with us ever since we re-opened our doors in 2021!

"My love for yoga began in India, where I first discovered the practice not just as movement, but as a living tradition. Being immersed in its birthplace opened my eyes to the depth behind every posture and breath, and it forever changed the way I connect to the practice.

Over time, I have developed a deep love for Shastra, the study of yoga's sacred scriptures. Exploring these ancient texts gives my practice roots and meaning and helps me connect what happens on the mat to a much larger wisdom. One which I can apply to daily life.

What I cherish most is the ability to share genuine, embodied states with others. For me, yoga isn't something I simply teach or do. It is something I live. I aim to guide others toward a place of real presence, so they can experience the calm, clarity, and connection that the practice has brought to my own life."

She is a devoted student and an amazing teacher. We are so grateful to have her.

Catch her teaching regularly on Mondays for power at 9:30AM as well as subbing other classes!

Crystal Rainbow@crystalrainbowyoga and Gin Perry are teaming up for a potent day of devotion and we can't wait!

As we move towards the darkest half of the year, this day retreat is an opportunity to slow down, soften, and reconnect to deeper parts of self.

Through the vibration of sound, the devotion of mantra, the wisdom of story, and the grounding practice of asana, we’ll explore the art of listening, not just with the ears, but with the whole body.

This is a day to receive. To rest. To be held by practice, sound, community, and stillness. A day to nourish the body, quiet the mind, and create space for whatever is ready to arise.

We’ll share a beautiful dinner together, allowing the day to unfold into connection, conversation, and community.

Are you curious to learn about traditional songs from different cultures?

We are so excited to welcome Miriam and Anki at Shala on October 16 for a very special song circle.

Our voice is vibration, breath, intention, and prayer.

In this singing circle, we will share Comca’ac, Náhuatl, and Lakota songs, approaching each tradition with respect and gratitude for the peoples who have carried and preserved these songs through generations.

Ancestral songs are more than melodies. They carry memory, prayer, teachings, and a relationship with the natural and spiritual worlds.

Through our voices, we create a collective vibration, an opportunity to listen deeply, express ourselves, pray together, and remember our connection to the Earth, the elements, our ancestors, and one another.

No singing experience is needed. Every voice carries its own medicine.

Come as you are, bring your voice, and sing with us.

How many times do we simply pause in our day?

Not thinking about the next move. Just actually ground into the earth with a quiet declaration "I am here".

Yoga is about so much more than just moving our bodies. It's about a sense of deeper rooting inside ourselves so we can weather the great storms of life.

The mat is the place where we prepare. Life is where the true practice happens.

When was the last time your mind was actually quiet?

As the fall is upon us, it is a perfect time to start turning inward and tend to the inner landscapes of our minds.

Join us for a workshop designed to quiet the noise and bring you home to yourself through pranayama, mantra, sound, and guided meditation.

We'll move through Classical Surya Namaskar as a moving meditation, weaving breath and mantra into every movement, before turning inward with guided meditation and closing in deep Yoga Nidra rest.

We are reflecting with some deep gratitude today.

5 years ago on this day was when we reopened our doors under the current ownership.

As we know, what was happening in 2021 was very challenging for many industries.

Shala had been shut down for almost 9 months when Gin Perry , along with the support of many people, was able to start welcoming students back to this beloved space. And what an incredible journey it has been since then!

We want to give a deep gratitude to Michelle Cronier who held the torch so this space could remain in a time that many yoga studios couldn’t. Shala would not still be existing without her and her family, and we are so grateful.

And also, deep thanks to all of you for making it the space that it is.

To celebrate, we are running a special on all our punch passes and a sweet deal for a first month of an unlimited monthly membership. Swipe to see!
