Choose from the exhilarating waters of the Squamish Valley on the Elaho Whitewater Experience where you'll encounter unspoiled wilderness, with old growth forests, hanging glaciers, cascading waterfalls and two mighty Class 4 rivers for you to conquer, or the Cheakamus Family Adventure for a fun, splashy ride

down the Class 2 rapids of the Cheakamus River where you'll be surrounded by stunning views of the Paradise Valley.

Let’s Talk River Facts!🌊

The Elaho River flows from deep in the Coast
Mountains and is fed by ancient glaciers — that’s why
the water is that stunning turquoise blue!

🦅 Keep your eyes peeled!
This region is home to bald eagles, black bears, and
lots of other local critters. Our guides are trained in
wildlife spotting — you never know who you’ll meet on
the river.

🌍 A living ecosystem
The Elaho-Squamish watershed is part of a globally
significant temperate rainforest — one of the rarest
ecosystems on Earth.

🔥 Bonus fact:
Paddling through the Elaho Valley means passing by
the site of the 1998 Elaho fire — a huge wildfire that
helped shape the valley you see today.

every rapid tells a story.
