It will be parent discretion on whether a 6 year old will be more comfortable in the full day RMSC or the half day Mini Program. Please have a read through the detailed schedule of each one before registering. Due to coach to camper ratio, it may n
ot be possible to move kids part way through the week. We will be running the Rocky Mountain Mini’s program for two weeks between July 10 and Aug 11. Dates TBD

Cost:
RMSC- $275 per week
LIT program- $275 per week
Rocky Mountain Mini's (half day) - $150
This cost includes a RMSC T-shirt
Drop-in cost for RMSC is $60 per day (no drop in for LIT program available, does not include t-shirt)

RMSC offers to watch RMSC & LIT kids until 4:00pm for an additional $5/day
RMSC & LIT Camp Schedule:
Monday - Drop off and pick up at Laird School 9am-3:30pm
• Hand in Registration forms if not already done so, along with Cash, Cheque payable to Rocky Mountain Sports Camp or E-transfer payment to [email protected]
• Introductions, team building games, relays, slackline, dodgeball, soccer, rock climbing and more. Tuesday - Drop off and pick up at Pete’s Marina 9am-3:30pm
• Canoeing into the wetlands, includes geocaching, canoeing and safety skills, learn about the ecosystems, wild life etc. *Lifeguard on duty*
Wednesday - Drop off and pick up *with bikes and life jacket if needed* at Lake Lillian 9am - 3:30pm
• Biking on the Johnson and Junior Johnson Trail with Bicycle Works certified bike staff, Stand up Paddle Boarding with Adventure Paddle School certified staff, shelter building and swimming in Lake Lillian. *Lifeguard on duty*
Thursday - Drop off and pick up at Pete’s Marina 9am-3:30pm
• Kayaking into Lake Windermere, includes kayaking and safety skills, games and tons of FUN!! *Lifeguard on duty*
Friday - Drop off and pick up at Laird School 9am-3:30pm
• Indoor rock climbing, slackline, games, Forest Fire Fighters come to play dodgeball and Capture the flag with the kids (depending on fires) and much more. Rocky Mountain Mini’s Camp Schedule:

Thursday - Drop off and pick up *with life jacket* at Pete’s Marina 9am-12pm
• Kayaking into Lake Windermere, includes kayaking and safety skills, games and tons of FUN!! *Lifeguard on duty*
Friday - Drop off and pick up at Laird School 9am-12pm
• Mini Olympics, Slackline, soccer, lots of FUN games! The Leader in Training Program
The LIT program is designed for youth who are interested in working with children and who would like to get the experience working in a day camp. The LIT program challenges youth to develop personal leadership qualities through sport and games with the guidance from our experienced RMSC staff. With sessions on communication, teamwork, professionalism and goal-setting, campers are encouraged to explore and develop their own strengths as well as identify areas in their lives to apply these skills. The LIT’s will participate in all of the daily FUN activities while learning skills in each specific sport. The coaches will meet with the LIT participants at the end of each day for a wrap up session and to give feedback and answer any questions. At the end of the week, each LIT camper will receive a certificate stating that they completed the LIT program. After the completion of the LIT program, youth are then eligible to apply for a Counsellor in Training position with RMSC for the summer of 2017. Not all candidates are guaranteed a position, however we prefer to hire within our LIT graduates. How to register for camp
Contact [email protected] with the name and age of child(ren), date(s) of interest and t-shirt size (Youth XS, YS, YM, YL, YXL). Please be aware that we fill up fast so be sure to contact us ASAP in order to secure a spot. If you will NOT be coming to camp (or need to switch weeks) make sure to let us know so that we can open those spots to other campers. We have attached the registration form and Columbia River Paddle waiver form which can be either filled out and emailed back at the time of registration or handed in on the first day of camp. We will have extra forms on Monday morning if you prefer to fill them out at that time. Please note that if you are doing drop in days throughout the week, be sure to bring your completed forms with you. Payment can be made by e-transfer, cash or cheque either before or on the first day of camp. Remember to let us know ahead of time if you need to cancel or change dates.
