Ok, phone throws up a whole lot of memories from this date.
The ideal distraction in this moment. Here goes.
It was August 2018 and based on the times in my camera roll I guess we woke up at The Sandman (hotel in Squamish) and went swimming.
It was about a 2 minute drive from home back then. It would be down to 1 min now the new back road is open.

We must have gone home after The Sandman because I prepared cucumber FOUR WAYS to travel…
We were down playing at Ambleside Park in West Van by 6pm.
The next year I took Jack to NZ. It’s 2019, we wore onesies to stay warm in bed. The dog kept playing with Jack, the giant “toy” unicorn.
In 2020 we loaded up and went to the island.
(I look closer and see by the movement of the little’s arms they were fighting while I’m taking the pic)
Five years later this is dear Kate in Auckland making me a cuppa tea with the avo toast. Henry’s playing video games with Sam downstairs.
