Meet at the end of Bluebird/Condor for 615pm, for a 60-75 min outing on the backyard slabs.

Post run, we’ll head a block over to Solana Green’s for a potluck dinner. Bring a small dish to share, a plate & some cutlery.

Saturday June 13th - Field Trips for Social & Speedy Social - 8am Smoke Bluffs parking lot

This Saturday, we have 2 group options, and both are tackling the twisty, turny, labryinthe of trails that is Smoke Bluffs/ Valleycliffe/Crumpet.
​
Both Speedy Social with Simon & Social with Solana will head out from the Smoke Bluffs parking lot at 8am. Each group will be doing their own route, but aiming for 2:15ish.
​
Simon is tackling 14-15km with 615m of elevation, give or take, while Solana’s group will likely do 11-13km with 500m of elevation.
​
It’s supposed to be a warm one, so please come prepared with hydration and snacks.

This week we’ll be meeting at the corner of Cherry & Westway in Valleycliffe at 6:15 PM for a mellow 60-minute trail run, followed by Trivia Night at the Backyard Pub starting at 7:30 PM
There have been a ton of races, adventures, and accomplishments over the past few weeks, and we’d love to catch up, celebrate, and hear all about what you’ve been up to!

Whether you’ve been racing, training, exploring, or just enjoying the trails, come join us for a fun evening of running, socializing, and trivia.

⛰️ CapraVERT 2026 Recap ⛰️

What an incredible month of climbing, community, and friendly competition!

This year, participants logged hundreds of thousands of metres of elevation gain, completed side quests, pushed personal limits, and, most importantly, helped raise $8,660 for the Sea to Sky Hospice Society.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we were also able to award over $8,000 in prizes to participants throughout the challenge.

Congratulations to our Vert King and Queen, Ross Hamilton and Sofie Vielfaure, as well as all of our prize winners and challenge participants.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, and everyone who got out there to climb hills, support one another, and make this challenge such a success.

The energy, encouragement, and community spirit are what make the Capra family so special.

Saturday with & all happening, we’ve decided to forego run clubs. Looking for something to do still? Head out to cheer/volunteer at one of these events, or hit up for a 5K on gravel!

Sunday - there will be no Trails 101.

Summer Socials; Wednesday night run & potlucks will return this week though, so stay tuned for details.

One more day of CapraVERT is left!! We’re meeting at the top of the gondola at 10am Sunday morning to toast an amazing month where we raised over $4600 for the and have climbed over 1 million meters together! 🤯

We have 4 hiking groups tomorrow am:

Mellow Social at 730am with Liberty
Social at 8am with Solana
Speedy Social at 830am with Jason
Speedy at 845am with Ger
All groups meet at the trailhead sign at the gondola parking lot.

Let’s go after some punchy vert this week! Heading out from the shop we will climb Grinch toes, cruise down 50 and hit the quad burning Mid Life Crisis, before some of the fun downhill that Crunching Squirrel and Kiki provides. Potential for some add ons in there...

~1:45-1:55 for time, 14km 600m.

Social with Solana - 9am End of Tantalus

We’re going to head up Icy Hole, Value Added, and over to Tazer to tag the doghouse for those who missed it a few weeks ago with Chris. From there we’ll decide how we’re feeling and how to head back.

~2:15, 12km, 500m

**Note: throughout the Summer there will be 1, 2, or 3 pace groups each weekend. Pace options will be varied week to week depending on several factors, ie event calendars. Please check each week what we have on offer!
