Our Mission

EMSA Spruce Grove (also known as Spruce Grove Soccer Association or SGSA) will try to provide a soccer program allowing each participant to play at his/her appropriate level for every age, skill level, and competition level available. SGSA will provide players and coaches with the appropriate tools, guidance and support necessary to develop technical and personal skills to their full

potential. SGSA will foster and nourish the growth and enjoyment of the game of soccer year-round, emphasizing to our players, coaches, managers, referees, parents and spectators both the attitude and conduct of sportsmanship through training and team work. SGSA will promote these disciplines, thereby developing respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, game officials, and the community. Our goal is to be one of the top soccer programs within Alberta. We will achieve this through the care and dedication of our coaches, volunteers, parents and players.

Just a quick reminder to our Saints families that registration fees for the 2026/27 Indoor Season are due today, September 4.

⭐ Premier Families: If your player has been selected for a Premier team, the Premier fee top-up is due September 30. The September 4 deadline applies to your base registration fees.

💳 Ways to Pay

• Credit Card – through the registration portal, by phone, or in person at the SGSA office
• Debit or Cash – in person during office hours
• E-Transfer – [email protected]

Calling all former coaches, off-duty coaches, and “I’ve always thought about coaching…” coaches! 👀

As we get ready for the upcoming indoor season, SGSA is looking for a few more great people to step onto the sidelines and help lead our Community teams:

⚽ U13 Boys
⚽ U13 Girls
⚽ U15 Girls

Coaching is about so much more than wins and losses. It’s a chance to get involved in your community, help young athletes build confidence and skills, and create the kind of team environment kids remember long after the season ends.

Maybe you’ve coached with us before and are ready to come back. Maybe you have experience elsewhere. Or maybe you’ve been thinking about giving coaching a try and just need that little push.

⚽ TEAM BALANCING DAY INHOUSE and COMMUNITY PLAYERS – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

Getting ready for the upcoming Indoor Season! Our Team Balancing Day will take place at Fuhr Sports Park.

Team Balancing is not a tryout. Players participate in game-based activities to help us create fair and balanced teams for our Community and In-House programs.

U8 / U9 — 9:30–10:30 AM
U10 / U11 — 10:45–11:45 AM
U12 / U13 — 12:00–1:00 PM
U15 — 1:15–2:15 PM
U17 / U19 — 2:30–3:30 PM

⏰ Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to check in.

Attendance is strongly encouraged, as Team Balancing is our primary tool for determining appropriate team placement. Players should come ready to participate, have fun, demonstrate teamwork, a positive attitude, and coachability.
