🏒 2025/26 REGALS — A SEASON OF HEART, GROWTH & GRIT

This year was a true rebuild for the Regals — a season where nothing came easy, every inch was earned, and the team showed what resilience really looks like. The wins may have been few, but the fight was constant. Close games, tough battles, and a group that refused to quit.

They trusted the process. They stuck together. And Friday night, we celebrated exactly that — hard work, small wins, growth, and a future that looks brighter than ever.

Heartbreaker.

Warriors find one with 16 seconds left. That one stings.
But what a hockey game.

Back and forth. Compete level high. Our guys left everything out there.

This group could’ve folded a dozen times this season. They didn’t.

Young. Learning. Growing. Battling.
And tonight was another step forward.
A true rebuild year.

Character built in moments exactly like this.
To our players — thank you for buying in.

To our lone overager — thank you for leading the way.
To our underagers — the future is bright.

To our coaches — thank you for the belief and the vision.

This isn’t the end.
It’s the foundation.

Couldn’t be prouder of this group. We knew from day one this was a true rebuild year.

Very young squad.
3 full-time underage players.
Only 1 overager.

They battled. They grew. They bought in.
The next 3–4 years are going to be special.

Huge credit to an incredibly engaged coaching staff — thank you for the vision, the commitment, and believing in the process.

Tonight, we remember.

At this evening’s home game, the Spruce Grove Regals will honour the life and legacy of John Kennedy, a former executive member whose dedication and commitment helped shape our club over the past several years.

John gave his time, his energy, and his belief to the Regals, always working behind the scenes to make our organization stronger for players, families, and the community. His impact will not be forgotten.
We are honoured to have John’s family in attendance tonight to take part in a special ceremonial puck drop prior to puck drop.

In John’s memory, cash donations will be accepted at the admission table, with all proceeds going to a charity chosen by his family.

We invite our Regals community to join us in remembering John, honouring his contributions, and showing support to his family this evening.
