2021 in review has been pretty remarkable. It was hard work and frustrating at times but it was also extremely rewarding.
In January with the support of loving family and friends I took what I love to do and started my home business, Causality Fitness! https://causalityfitness.issacertifiedtrainer.com I am so glad I had the courage to take the leap. I absolutely love what I am doing and I am looking forward to expanding and evolving my company.
I have a group of amazing clients who support and trust me to help them meet their goals and support their needs. They all continue to amaze me (and themselves) with the obstacles they flatten and master. I find so much joy in watching my clients rise to the challenges I bring them in the gym as well as outside of the gym.
COVID brought its challenges with multiple lockdowns and sick days, but with the help of technology and my trusting clients we were able to keep everyone on track with their goals despite the challenges that were thrown our way. I have to say though that I love having everyone back in person and the gym! That in-person connection and training make all the difference in the world!
Earlier this year My kids and I successfully finished a full year of e-learning from home (french immersion grade 1 and 3 was challenging in all sorts of ways) all while I was starting my business. They both did extremely well with helping me to balance (juggle) their schoolwork and starting up a home-based business. It was definitely challenging and there were a lot of raised voices and some tears at times, but we made it through successfully and have transitioned back to regular school seamlessly and with a lot more brainpower for me to use throughout my days!
Life has been moving at such an amazing pace, this year seems to have gone by so fast. I am so grateful for the support of my family, as I navigate the new balance of life and business. I am constantly continuing to evolve and find new ways to make it all work with school drop-offs and pick-ups then running to sports and music trying to support all their wants and needs as well as keeping focus on my own. Without the support and love of my husband non of these things would be possible. He is the one who made our basement into a gym and supports me in my dreams and pushes me to make them a reality. It has been a fun year and I am so excited to see all the amazing changes and challenges ahead in 2022. I know we can face all life throws our way. Cheers to you and your families on this, the last day of 2021 and all the best to you in the year ahead.
To your Health and Happiness!
