Sageful Sutras Yoga I offer a range of different classes to accommodate the ever changing self.

My yoga journey is diverse, as our bodies are always in flux and in staying true to honoring ones' self in both the physical and non physical, I listen for the needs. I provide the following classes:
Yin Yoga
Hatha Yoga
Pre and Post Natal Yoga
Meditations
I also provide 1:1 private classes

Do you have a personal practice? I bet you do and you probably don't even realize it. Whenever you tap into yourself; be it for a moment or longer; be it in movement or stillness. This is still a personal moment. 'Yes, but I don't do it everyday at the same time.' This is the practice; not perfection. It is about coming home to yourself earnestly. There is no one way of doing this.

Did you know we have yoga classes every week next door inside the Wellness Clinic? We run 4 classes a week, from Hatha, to Yin, to Vinyasa and Meditation... we have something for everyone. Meet your instructor, Charlotte Harris, below!

Charlotte's yoga journey began over 25 years ago while looking for her own pain relief that doctors or physiotherapists were unable to help with. It was during this time that she experienced first-hand the benefits of a daily Hatha yoga practice for the body, mind and energetic self. Through the balance of active poses and stillness, Charlotte was able to connect within the deepest parts of herself and begin her healing journey.

She is passionate about honoring ones' own body, and invites students on this journey through breath and awareness; while implementing tools for deepening the experience of connection within. Her classes are all-inclusive, supportive, informative and challenging which allows for both strengthening and increasing flexibility, while focusing on the connection with self.

When not teaching yoga, Charlotte enjoys being creative in and around her home environment, spending time outdoors camping, as well as spending time with friends and family.

The Empath’s Nervous System.

As empaths, we’re not just feeling emotions… we’re feeling everything. Energy in a room; tension in someone’s voice; things that are never even spoken, it's the energy we are processing, even in an empowered state, I today "feel" when my energy levels are registering as low.

Our nervous system is constantly scanning, processing, and absorbing… and most of the time, guys, we don’t even realise it’s happening. It's all happening on a subconscious level, but the nervous system can become a little overwhelmed.

That’s why some days we feel drained “for no reason”, like I felt this morning. It’s not that nothing happened… It’s that everything did.

And today I’ve been gently reminded of something powerful. I want to share that I'm feeling a little fragile today; You don’t need to push through it.

You don’t need to override it; all you need to do is honour it and embrace this time to gently recharge.

So if today feels slower, softer, and quieter for you too, maybe that’s not a bad day after all.

Maybe it's just your nervous system asking you to come back home to yourself.

So my energy is positive today, I felt pushed to share this post with you, and hopefully it talks to even just one person... So for me, I'm going for a walk, breathe some beautiful Highlands, Scotland fresh air, drink clean water with a twist of lemon and a sprinkle of Himalayan salt, and even just sit quietly for a bit. Let my nervous system breathe.

You don’t need to fix today. You don’t need to force high energy. Just be… gently.

Just BE a human BEing, that's literally the minimum that is asked of you!
