June 8th marked our 7th annual slow pitch tourny and boy was it a cold and windy weekend. The strong winds made it a bit challenging as the day before the tourny the wind took down our Tents. But, with some help we were able to piece one back together and set up a couple wind breaks that helped a ton. The Dirty Pitches want to thank all the teams that came out and battled through the cold and made it a successful weekend. Congratulations to the Sons of Pitches that took 1st place in this years tournament, and congratulations to the winners of the home run derby and the raffle bat. We also couldn't have made the tourny successful without our sponsors for this year's tourny. Timber Spirit Supply and spiritwood pharmacy were generous enough to donate this year's home run derby bats, while Northern Lakes Mechanical donated the raffle bat again for our tourny. Hujber's market on main also donated all the Pop/juice and mix for the bar. Last but not least a huge thanks to sarcs for organizing the kitchen! 👏 we hope everyone had a good time!

On Aug 26th the Dirty Pitches hosted their annual slow pitch tournament, and the hot weather made for the perfect weekend. This year's A final winner was Tippy Canoe who edged out team Beerly Legal in the final. A member of the Tippy Canoe also won the home run derby and took home a bat donated by Nutrien ag solutions. Mackenzie Seidle once again won the female home run derby and took home the bat donated by Spiritwood Confectionery. There was also a raffle bat this year that was donated by Northern Lakes Mechanical and the lucky winner was Shirley Lehouillier. Also want to thank Hujbers Market On Main for donating the Pop for the weekend and Blaine Lake Liquor + Hardware for helping us out with the liquor sales and all of the volunteers and players from the team that helped out with the weekend. With the funds from the last couple tournaments the Dirty Pitches were able to donate shale earlier this year to put on 3 of the diamonds, and the Dirty Pitches are looking forward to more upgrades in the future! Would like to thank everyone who came out to our 5th annual slow pitch tournament, it was a great weekend of ball! We also want to thank our sponsors, Blaine Lake Liquor & Hardware, Martodam Motors, L&L Construction, Hujbers Market on Main and all of the volunteers that helped with set up, clean up, working the bar, umping, and everything else in between. The Whiskey Sticks were a big part of this and can't thank them enough. We would like to congratulate Team Atcheyo on winning this year's tournament and The Brewers for coming in at 2nd place. Congrats to the 2 winners of the home run derby and we hope everyone had a fun time!

Come join us this June for another great weekend. Money will be given to help the continuation of the ball diamond restoration project. Alot of hard work has gone into our diamonds the last couple years so come see what has been done so far!
