A huge THANK YOU to all 77 riders who joined us for the Embrace the Summer ATV & SxS Poker Ride this past Saturday! It was a beautiful day on the trails, and we were thrilled to see so many people come out and support the event.

This ride would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our incredible volunteers. Your time and effort made the day a success, and we are truly grateful. Thank you!

All funds raised from the event will go directly toward ongoing trail maintenance, helping to keep our trail system safe, enjoyable, and accessible for everyone.

If you took any photos during the ride, we'd love to see them! Please share them in the comments below.

And to give everyone a glimpse of the day, here’s a short video shared by one of our riders. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more from Mud and Motion! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9HgPmHOlOs

**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**

We are writing to remind all riders of their responsibilities while using our trail system and the municipal roads that provide access between trail sections.

Recently, our Club received a complaint regarding ATV riders causing significant damage to a municipal roadway that serves as a connector route to the trail system. The reported actions included intentionally spinning tires and creating deep ruts in the road surface. This type of behaviour is unacceptable and reflects poorly on our riding community.

Please remember:
1. Do not intentionally spin tires, create ruts, or damage roads, trails, ditches, or adjacent properties.

2. Municipal roads that permit ATV travel are not part of the trail for recreational riding or mudding. They are designated routes that allow riders to travel safely and legally from one trail section to another.

3. Respect private property, agricultural operations, local residents, and municipal infrastructure at all times.

4.Obey all municipal bylaws, trail regulations, and applicable laws while riding.

Our trail system exists because of the countless hours contributed by Club volunteers and the cooperation of municipalities, landowners, and community partners. When roads or trails are damaged, repairs often fall to municipal taxpayers or Club volunteers, creating unnecessary costs and putting continued trail access at risk.

Members should also be aware that damage to municipal property may result in involvement from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and municipal authorities. Where individuals are identified causing damage, charges may be pursued. The Club will cooperate with law enforcement and municipal officials when incidents of vandalism or property damage are reported.

The vast majority of ATV riders are responsible and respectful. Unfortunately, the actions of a small number of individuals can jeopardize access and damage the reputation of the entire ATV community. We all have a role to play in protecting the privileges we enjoy.

If you witness unsafe, destructive or illegal behaviour, please document it safely when possible and report it. Anyone can contact the OPP Non-Emergency Line at 1-888-310-1122. Identifying those responsible is critical to preventing future incidents and preserving access for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us promote safe, respectful, and responsible riding throughout our trail system and communities.

Ride responsibly,

Pat Marceau

So we’re getting a lot o’ flack for changing out the new JATVC logo and how it only featured a SxS…. Does this logo suffice then? All comments welcomed.

Community Clean‑Up – Thank You Volunteers!
On Saturday, May 2nd, several Club volunteers came together to clean up the parking lot at the 17 Acre Travel Centre & Angelo's Restaurant. As most of you know, this location is our main staging area, and we are very grateful to the owners for allowing our Club and riders to use this space.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, the dump trailer was completely filled. Your efforts help keep our staging area clean and strengthen our relationship with the property owners.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered—your support makes a real difference!
