Time to show off what's been going on around here lately.
Our guests had an incredible experience. You never know what's on the end of your line. Northern pike, muskie, small mouth bass, carp and of course walleye. Some personal bests, a few wearing "the shirt" and all around smiles from all. Come check it out for yourself!

We know many of our guests have been wondering about the wildfires and smoke in our area and we wanted to provide a quick update.
The good news is that Blue Heron Resort is safe, and we are open as usual. While smoke conditions can change from day to day depending on the wind, the resort itself is not under threat.
We're continuing to monitor the situation closely and will keep everyone updated if anything changes. Thank you for checking in and for your concern-we truly appreciate it.
We look forward to welcoming everyone for another great week on the Spanish River. Stay safe and we'll see you soon.

June was fantastic on the water.
Walleye fishing has been excellent with several guests landing personal best. We also saw some impressive musky, and pike brought to the boat.
What makes it more special? Seeing friends and family sharing their time with us. Making memories and continuing traditions that have carried on for many years.

We are off and running. Zone 10 and 14 did not disappoint. Great to have everyone back for another exciting season. ...
