Introducing the New Vanshaw Academy Logo
As we prepare to begin our 5th season, it felt like the right time to create something that is uniquely Vanshaw.
When Vanshaw Academy first opened, we needed a logo that would help us get started. Over the past four seasons, however, our studio has grown into its own community, developed its own culture, and built its own identity. We wanted a logo that reflected who we are today and where we are headed in the future.
At the heart of our new logo is the ouroboros, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon consuming its own tail. Throughout history, the ouroboros has represented infinity, wholeness, growth, and the continuous cycle of renewal.
For us, it represents the journey of every dancer who walks through our doors. Each season brings new goals, new challenges, and new opportunities to grow. Dancers build on what came before, continually learning, improving, and becoming stronger versions of themselves.
The dragon remains an important part of our identity and reflects the spirit behind our studio motto:
Where Legends Rise.
The Celtic knotwork woven throughout the design celebrates our Irish heritage, while the custom-crafted artwork creates a logo that is distinctly and unmistakably Vanshaw.
While our look has evolved, our mission remains the same: to provide a place where dancers can learn, grow, belong, and achieve their goals at every stage of their journey.
