What a great day we had for weather, ice, and shinny. We had 56 skaters and lots of fans. The Souris Sharks attempted the 3 peat but fell short to The Morden Thunder in the 2025 Rink the River final.

We are pleased to announce that with all the support from the sponsors and community, we will be able to give $5,255 to The Avalon Theater for their renovation.

The theater also had a great day on the bbq with another $600.

Thank you sponsors, participants, spectators, the town/RM and our amazing volunteers that helped make this year happen.

Without all the support for you guys, we couldn't make this possible.

Get ready to hit the ice, we are FOUR days out from our annual Rink the River shiny tournament! The theatre will have a BBQ lunch going, 49° will have warm drinks, ice cream, lemonade and treats available! 🍔🌭☕️🍪There will be door prizes and 50/50! The bonfires will be going, it looks like it should be great weather!
