That’s a wrap on the BVX Fair!

A huge thank you again to the BVX for their continued partnership with the Smithers Steelheads. It may not be the most glamorous job, but someone’s gotta do it — and many hands definitely make light work!

Our Steelheads family is out in full force this weekend at the Bulkley Valley Exhibition!

Players, staff, families, junior volunteers and more are volunteering as part of the garbage crew, helping keep the exhibition grounds clean, organized and looking great all weekend long.

We’re proud to see our Steelheads — young and old — stepping up, working together and giving back to the community that supports us all season long.

The 2026–2027 Central Interior Hockey League season is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited for another year of great hockey.

Six teams are ready to hit the ice, and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and commitment each organization has shown in helping the CIHL continue to grow and succeed.
