Tomorrow afternoon one of the best events of the year takes place when the Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua, takes on one of the most talented boxers alive as Olexsander Usyk steps into the ring to get the belt he has been chasing since he left the Cruiserweight division. The fight airs at 2pm and is on DAZN. If you have any interest in this sport at all, this fight is can’t miss tv.

Hadih, tonight, the best in the game, Canelo Alvarez, takes on Billy Joe Saunders, in what will prove to be a tricky fight. The hyper aggressive and defensive genius will be facing a similarly skilled opponent. This will be the most fans to ever attend s boxing match in America as there will be 70,000+ fans in attendance. The fight can be found on DAZN, as part of the normal subscription, which is about $100/year. Enjoy!!!!

Some time ago I reached out to Victor Jim for assistance in renaming the boxing club. As it is a gym for the members of the Witset First Nation, I asked if he could assist with providing a name which is more representative of those it serves.

As such, starting today, and moving forward, the Witset Boxing Club has been renamed "Witset Nidilaus Beyikh" which translates to either the "Witset Boxing House" or "House of Wit'suwet'in Boxers".

Hopefully we can get those doors opened soon and get back to the hard work.

In tragic news, today, one of my favorite fighters ever, Marvellous Marvin Hagler, died suddenly. This man was the definition of discipline, hard work, and a true sportsman. This weekend is a great one for fights. Here is
a breakdown of how to enjoy the weekend:
Friday: Sor Rungvisai vs. Situmorseng. Rungvisia is a great fighter who is worth watching
Saturday: Estrada vs. Gonzalez. This is the fight to watch. Potential fight of the year
McCaskill vs. Braekhus. Two of the top females on the planet displaying their skill sets. This is a remarch of an incredible upset last year. Definitely
something to watch.
Benavidez vs. Ellis. Benavidez is the greatest threat to Canelo’s title reign and he will get his shot soon. Watch him in his way up as he faces a challenge.

It was 50 years ago today that Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met in Madison Square Garden for their first of three encounters. Both fighters at the time were unbeaten with Ali being 31-0 and Frazier being 26-0. This is considered one of the most anticipated fights in history and one of the most hyped sporting events ever.
