Hello to all of the Ice Fishing community. The 2022/2023 Ice Fishing season is now here, and its time for everyone to start making trip plans.
We will have the shack ready to go at Hilliard's Bay again so as soon as the ice is thick enough, it will be on the lake ready to go.
Fingers crossed we will be all set between Xmas and New Year's Eve, ice thickness permitting.

Our 2022/2023 rates will be as follows:
$150.00 per day, available during the week, which is 12 noon until 12 noon the following day.
$400.00 per week which is 12 noon Monday - 12 noon Thursday
$550.00 per weekend which is 12 noon on Friday - 12 noon on Sunday.

March Madness!!!!! It's a great time of year to be on the ice......longer days, warmer temps, and the fish are starting to heat up the bite as they moved down the lake towards their spawning grounds.

The 2022 Ice Fishing season is now underway for the 5 of Diamonds! We were able to get it out off Hilliard's bay on Dec 30th and all set up.
There are still dates available for Jan, Feb and Mar so reach out to us if you have any questions or if you want to book your fishing trip.

The upcoming ice season for the 5 of Diamonds is right around the corner. With the weather starting to work in our favour, we are planning to have it out and ready to go out from Hilliard's Bay as soon as the ice permits within the first week of January. Hello to all the ice fishing adventurers that are starting to book their ice fishing season trips. Thank you for stopping in to our page.

We wanted to provide an update to the page regarding what your booking includes as well as what our rates for the 2022 hard water season will be.

The 5 of Diamonds is located just out from the Hilliard's Bay provincial park boat launch on Lesser Slave Lake.

Main details of the 5 of Diamonds:
- Sleeps 6 comfortable (Can sleep 2 additional anglers. Just need 2 camping cots. There is plenty of floor space.)
- 6 fishable holes
- Wood stove
- Propane furnace (Operated by thermostat for ease and comfort)
- Counter and sink for cooking and food prep.
- Bluetooth stereo with speakers inside and outside.
- Wall mount TV to plug in your fishing electronics or to watch Sports, Movies, etc.
- Outdoor enclosed washroom facility

2022 Hardwater Season Rates:

Daily Rate (Noon - Noon) - $200
Weekly Rate (Monday Noon - Thursday Noon) - $600
Weekend Rate (Friday Noon - Sunday Noon) - $600

The Ice Fishing season is fast approaching us! If you are wanting or planning to get a trip in, start thinking of dates and making your reservations.

We plan to have the 5 of Diamonds out on the ice as soon as it is safe to do so, which usually is by the first or second week of January. Last year was an early start to the ice fishing season, which gave us an extra week at the start of January. It will be located off Hilliard's Bay, Alberta, same location that it was set up at last year.
