HAPPY OCTOBER 1st everyone!!! 🎃

The last couple of weeks have been a bit all over the place between a sick household, getting sick myself, and lots of cancellations and reschedules with clients being sick too — so here’s hoping we’re through the worst of it for a little while.

On the bright side, it’s officially my favourite month 🍂

From now (October 1st) until Thanksgiving Monday, I’m bringing back two of everyone’s favourite promos:

🎃 10 sessions for the price of 8 — $480 + HST
👻 12 sessions for the price of 10 — $600 + HST

This will be the last promo until the New Year — perfect timing to get stocked up for the next couple of months.

Sickness has made its way through our household again 🤧 (all 3 boys)

Please bear with me as I try to navigate sessions while also taking care of a sick household. There have been quite a few cancellations lately due to illness, and while I know it can be frustrating, I would much rather have sessions rescheduled than risk passing anything else around to myself, my family, or other clients.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we get through another round of sick season!

A little sick season reminder 🤧

While I absolutely love seeing all your faces, if you’re sick, please cancel your session and stay home.

Your session will NOT be deducted from your package for illness. I’d much rather you rest and recover than risk passing something along to me, my family, or the other women coming into the studio.

I also have little ones at home, so I just ask for the same patience and understanding in return if I need to cancel or reschedule sessions because one of my kiddos is sick.

With kids in school/daycare, we all know how quickly germs can make their way through a house!

Today is International Police Women’s Day, so it feels like a pretty fitting day to share this. 🤎

Having worked as a Correctional Officer and in Law Enforcement, I understand firsthand that careers in law enforcement and emergency services come with a lot that most people don’t always see or feel…

Long shifts, missed holidays, stressful days, time away from family, and sometimes bringing the weight of the job home with you.

I’ll always have a special place in my heart for the people who work in these fields and continue to show up day after day.

So as a little thank you for all you do, starting October 1st, I’ll be offering 10% off Lift Lodge services to police, fire, paramedics, nurses and doctors.

Just a little way for Lift Lodge to give back to some of the people who give so much to everyone else. 🤎

More than just a gym. 🤎

Women have walked through these doors after having babies, breakups, divorce, loss, hardship, and just really s**tty seasons of life.

Women have cried here, laughed here, vented about their relationships, kids, jobs, stress and everything in between. Some have come in not feeling like themselves at all, and over time I’ve watched them become stronger, happier and more confident in themselves again.

I joke that personal training is basically half training, half therapy lol, but there’s actually some truth to it. I probably know things about some of my clients that even the people closest to them don’t know.

And I love that!! 🥹🩷

Because this has somehow turned into a place where women can come for an hour, let loose, bitch about their day, tell me what’s going on in their lives, laugh until we cry, sometimes actually cry, lift some heavy s**t and just BE.

Of course we’re here to get stronger and work toward goals, but I think what happens in this little room goes so much further than that.

It’s become a second home for some, and honestly, for me too.

You come here to work on yourself — whatever that happens to look like that day. 🤎
