W⚽️ | First two games of our preseason against UNBC and UofL! The griffs came out flying with a 5-1 result against UNBC and 8-0 against UofL! 💪🏻🔥 Excited to keep putting the work in!

Game 1 UNBC: BELT went to Paige who was cooking all over the field and came out with a goal and assist!

Game 2 UofL: BELT went to Brenna after a class performance and a hat trick!

M⚽️| We would love to invite you to our annual Dano Day on August 17th. We kicked off our tradition last year with a MacEwan mens intersquad game, and we would like to invite you again for another year to honor Daniel Drummond and also Dylon Powley this year - two important members of MacEwan’s soccer history. Come out and support the Griffs while celebrating our two MacEwan legends.

Sabrina Alexander 🏆 Sabrina’s inaugural year was nothing short of spectacular, marked by record-breaking performances and standout shutouts against the nation’s finest. Her inclusion in the CW Rookie All-Star team underscores her exceptional debut. Sabrina’s immense contributions propelled our success this season, can’t wait for Sab’s future as a griff!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: .mwasalla
Grace Mwasalla 🏆 Despite enduring a six-game absence due to injury, Mwasalla remarkably found the net 8 times in 8 games, with five securing crucial victories for the team. Recognized with a spot on the CW First Team-All Star, Grace’s blazing performance throughout the season epitomized relentless energy and unwavering dedication to every match!

GOLDEN GRIFF LEADERSHIP AWARD:
Hannah Supina 🏆 Hannah clinches the inaugural Golden Griff Leadership Award, a testament to her exceptional prowess in academics, athletics, and leadership. Known fondly as “Hammer,” our captain consistently embodies the essence of excellence, boasting Academic All-Canadian honors, CW Second Team All-Star recognition this season, and exemplary leadership qualities. Congratulations to Hammer 🔨 for exceeding expectations in every facet of her role!

Lastly, congratulations to our Seniors for accepting their “M” sweaters. You’ll all be missed incredibly, thank you for everything you’ve done for this program! 🦅🦁
