What an incredible way to cap off an amazing season—we are the 2025 U20 Marc Kennedy Junior Classic Champions! 🏆🥌

This weekend was an absolute blast, as always! We’re beyond grateful for the experience and thrilled to take home the win. A huge thank you to for the brand-new brooms! A special shoutout to Hayley for her third consecutive title at this event!

A massive thank you to Marc and Nicole Kennedy, the entire crew, the incredible volunteers, ice makers across all four clubs, and the event sponsors—your dedication and hard work make this the biggest (and best!) junior curling event in the world!

On top of this, Kaitlyn and Abby both made Hot Shots, with Abby finishing 3rd overall—huge congrats to them!

While this marks the end of our four-person curling season, Abby and Anna have one event left! They have one more event: U20 Provincial Mixed Doubles in Cochrane with their partners, Ben and Nick. Wishing them the best of luck!

A couple weeks ago we competed in the U20 Provincials in Red Deer. We were so close to going to Nationals but unfortunately came short in the semi final. However, we are so proud of our accomplishments as a team and powering through the long week. Anna and Abby were also voted as team all stars for the week for their amazing playing and sportsmanship! We wish team Plett and team Richards the best of luck representing our Province at the U20 Canadian Championship and to the boys teams team Hlushak and team Davies!
Huge thanks to Red Deer Curling Club for hosting such an amazing event and to all of the ice makers, volunteers and organizers! We want to give a huge thanks to .jacques315 for organizing the event and making sure everything was ready for game times and media hour! Another huge shoutout to our familiesand cheerleaders in the stands watching our games and the huge support from our sponsors. However, we want to give big thanks to our coach for the ongoing support all season, making us laugh and being our uber driver for the week. We truly wouldn’t have gotten as far as a team without his amazing coaching and dedication!

With this being our last big event of the season, we are wrapping it up with the fun Marc Kennedy spiel from March 21-23! And we are looking forward to playing together and having fun!

Today we celebrate National girls and women in sports day! Over the past few years the competitiveness and awareness of women’s sports has increased and has helped to influence little girls all over the world to get involved. We acknowledge the dedication of our team and other teams to being the best versions of themselves on and off the ice.

Of course the ability for us to compete in these competitions wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors and play a huge role in our success so far this season!

This past weekend we were in Sherwood Park for their U20 bonspiel. We had a great weekend going 4-1 and unfortunately coming just short in the final, and ending the weekend as finalists!

Thank you to Heather Nedohin for all of her work in organizing, as well as all the other volunteers behind the scenes who made this event possible. Thank you so much Tony George from Allstate for sponsoring this event as always! And of course, thank you ice techs for the amazing ice.

We have a short turn around time here and are at our home club this weekend for the Saville U25, with our first game on Friday at 2:00pm. Our schedule will be posted shortly.
