We are The Defensive Edge, a company specializing in athletic development and hockey training. We focus on creating better habits and a strong foundation so athletes can have more success in their athletic endeavors. Our team is made up of other former athletes who work in education as teachers, and have
exceptional communication skills with children/athletes. Our effectiveness as athletes is
mirr

ored in the teaching world with our ability to connect with student athletes to give them a
glimpse into what the next step in their athletic career will be. At the Defensive Edge, we focus on training the whole athlete, meaning the athletes get
physical, mental, and emotional training through our services. We offer the following
programs:

On ice sessions - Teams, individuals, defenseman sessions

Off-ice Dryland Training - Weight Training, plyometrics, cardiovascular training, hockey specific conditioning,
emotional conditioning/strategy, in-season sprint and agility training

Mental Training - $250/hr
- 5 step in-season mental training packages (developing a Pro mentality)

Congratulations to Keaton Verhoeff for all the work you have put in both on and off the ice! We are so proud of you and the shinning example for young hockey players to aspire too. Physical, mental, and emotional preparation has allowed you to step into your moment on stage and we are so excited for you to live your dream you told me about at the beginning of your journey in the pink dungeon. After our first training session I called your mom and said Keaton is going to play pro hockey and you were 13! Now look at you kid!
