Guysborough County Trails volunteers installed new signs near residential area -Cross Rds Country Harbour to Ken White bridge. We ask users to be respectful in all areas close to where people , pets and farm animals live. Also, please be respectful of all signage as signs, posts, & materials are expensive. Your tax dollars and grants pay for these messages!! Volunteers give of their valuable time to try to make trail safe for all. Thanks!

Sign installation is continuing. A few trees planted.
GF MacDonalds working to complete surface levelling and ditching.
We will be looking for folks to sponsor picnic tables or benches( groups, in memorial, etc). Tree planting is also a great way to remember loved ones! Stay tuned!

St Barbara is proud to announce a new Community Partnership Agreement (CPA) with the St. Mary's Trail Association valued at $75,000 over the next three years.

The St. Mary’s Trail Association plays an important role in maintaining and promoting the trail network throughout the St. Mary’s area, providing opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and connect with the natural beauty of the region.

Through this partnership, St Barbara is glad to support the Association’s continued work and help contribute to the maintenance, and enhancement of the local trail system for the community to enjoy.

We are grateful to the volunteers and members of the St. Mary’s Trail Association for the time and dedication they put into maintaining these important community spaces.

We look forward to seeing the continued impact of this partnership and enjoying the trails for years to come!
