Great article by World Hockey Centre alumni Viktor Hedman. Viktor trained at the World Hockey Centre in the summers of '05 & '06: http://www.theplayerstribune.com/victor-hedman-lightning-sweden-hockey/

In Sweden, you play on a bigger ice surface, so you have the time and space to be creative and daring. In the NHL, it’s not just that the surface is smaller, it’s that the speed of the game is faster than you can ever imagine in your head.

Best of luck to WHC Alumni Brendan Lemieux (WHC, 2012) who has been picked up by the Windsor Spitfires OHL in a trade with the Barrie Colts. Brendan is part of the NHL's Winnepeg Jets system.
