Campbell’s Bay minor league fastball

Well what a fantastic way to wrap up our inaugural season of fastball in Campbell’s Bay. Our teams went out this weekend and brought home all the merchandise that we possibly could. Travis team pulled out a 4-1 victory to take the U10. Denis’ U13 team won 15-6 in the final after beating out Garrets U13 team in the semis. The U18 team won a spirited final against a Shawville team 7-4. I personally want to thank the organizers of the youth tournament for all their work into getting the second field up and running as well as their dedicated work on the fields. Thank you as well to the umpires who made the games enjoyable for all the teams.

I am super proud of how all of our kids represented the Royals on the field. Their play in this tournament was inspiring. I am happy to be apart of this league.

Once again I would like to thank all of our coaches (Travis Corriveau, Champ Corriveau, Garrett Kindness, Luc Amyotte, Denis Soucie) for their dedicated work towards the training of our youth.

Thanks also to the behind the scenes help from Mallory Corriveau and Brittany Soucie. Who without them this would have been so hard to get up and going.

Also to all of our sponsors and donators. Without you we wouldn’t have looked so good out there and have the equipment to make our kids shine.

Thanks to everyone and with the good hearted volunteers and sponsors we have I believe this group of kids will turn into all stars which is something to be proud off.

Our U13 Denis and U18 Darryl suffered tough losses tonight to start the playoffs. Fortunately we still get to play again thanks to higher standing. Tonight the U18 team received our trophy for 1st place. Here is the crew. Come on down to the Shawville RA tomorrow to cheer on the rest of our teams in action. Games are starting at 8am tomorrow. Refreshments and food are available.

Well folks as our season is winding down to an end with the year end tournament tomorrow. Here is the official schedule for the start of the tournament. Depending on how are teams do in their first games will determine when they play next. We get started of with Denis’ U13(3rd place) team at 6 pm. Then the U18(1st place) team will play at 7:30. Then on Saturday Travis’ U10 team (1st place) will play at 9:45. Followed by Garret’s U13 team(6th place) playing at 11.
There is a full canteen with food and beverages available as well as many draws and fundraisers for the youth ball kids.
If you are watching at the newly created field (Clarendon Field) please bring chairs if needed as there are currently no bleachers installed.

Congratulations to our youth players as this is our first year in this league and we have shown a remarkable start with two first place teams.

Please come down and watch these exciting young ball players!!!

Tomorrow night we have an exciting night of ball ahead. Our two U13 teams meet head to head at 6 followed by our U18 team facing a strong young team from Shawville. Come on down and enjoy some exciting young ball players.

Good evening folks. Due to the inclement weather and the distance of the first team opponents, our U10 game this evening has been postponed. But wait, because Mother Nature cooperated later in the evening the U18 game is a go. The field is prepped (although a touch soggy) but things are drying up nicely. Unfortunately the canteen will not be open so feel free to bring some snacks and a cold drink. Let’s go Royals

We have an exciting night of ball lined up for tonight folks. Garret’s U13 team is set to host a team from Shawville at 6:00 and the U18 team is set to take on another team from Shawville @ 7:30. The canteen will be open for Gatorade’s and freezies to keep everyone cooled off.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to take a minute to thank all the businesses and people that have donated to our minor league ball program for the kids. Their generosity has allowed us to purchase the equipment, beautiful jerseys and hats for our kids. When you keep they looking good. They will reward us organizers with good effort and play.
