🚨✍️ BIG Addition Alert!! ✍️🚨

In what may seem like a quiet off season thus far, we have been working tirelessly recruiting some big additions, and none bigger than our first official new addition to the 2026-2027 roster in none other than Longlac’s own Nolan Tucker!!

Nolan had many impressive performances as an affiliate to the club last season including a hat trick in one of his first games, and a “Gordie Howe Hat Trick” in one of the play-in games vs. Nipigon during the playoffs. His size, skill and strength will be an immediate impact to our lineup and one of the big pieces to our future moving forward.

Fresh off an impressive performance at the National Indigenous Junior Hockey Championships, where he was one of the top point getters of the tournament, Nolan is the first of many north shore additions we look to add this offseason!

Spots are available for the 2026-2027 Season in the LJHL!! Come on out and skate for a chance to join the flock in our Summer Tryout Camp happening June 26th & 27th at Fort William First Nations Arena! Cost is only $10 per skate!

Contact coach Mario to sign up in advance, walk-ons are welcome as well! (Permission to skates are required for other teams priority selections, and attached players from last season).

We’re proud to announce our Draft Class of 2026-2027!We have some amazing young men that could potentially become part of the Filane’s Falcons family! The journey begins June 26th and 27th with our first summer tryout camp at the Fort William First Nations Arena.

Friday June 26th @ 8pm - First Nations Rink 1
Saturday June 27th @ 2pm - First Nations Rink 1

We look forward to seeing all these players at tryouts as well as any other interested players! (Permission to Skate is required if you were drafted to another team).

Unbelievable news we’re hearing about one of our guys! We know Neelix will do everything in his power to fight this battle knowing the way he battles for himself and teammates on the ice! A tremendous young man needs our help now to be in his corner and support this long journey ahead! Game 2 TONIGHT in Schreiber at !!

The Schreiber Filane's Falcons Jr. B Hockey Club try to even up their best of five series with the Current River Storm on home ice

Jackson Andraka was solid in the opener with 46 saves for the Falcons. Darnell Kempf registered a hat trick for the Storm in his return to the lineup.

A Falcons win ensures a fourth game in Schreiber.

Game 1 TONIGHT

The quest for the Joe Ward Memorial Trophy continues for the Schreiber Filane's Falcons Jr. B Hockey Club and begins for the Current River Storm

A highway closure forced the post-ponement of this game from last night.

The Falcons swept the Nipigon Elks in the best of three quarterfinals while outscoring them 10-6.

These teams met in last year's league final with the Storm completing the four game sweep.
