How many of you have been told that bacteria is bad for you? 🤨🦠
Truth is almost less than 5% of them are classified as harmful, and the rest are typically neutral or very beneficial for us. The beneficial kinds of bacteria live in our guts and we need these to process and absorb the food we eat!
Sauerkraut is incredibly nutritious and healthy for our gut. It provides probiotics and vitamin K2 ( helps with bone and heart health). A spoonful of this will boost your immune system, and improve your digestion helping you lose weight!
Eating foods high in fibre such as vegetables, legumes, whole grains and fruits are another great way to increase good bacteria in your gut!
