Willow - Stride Equine Veterinary Services your generosity is spectacular and you made a big difference to quite a few horses this weekend. Thank you so much. We sure hope to see you involved in barrel racing moving forward.

And now, the rest of the story…
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the support I have received over the years producing barrel races.
I feel very fortunate to know each and every one of you you are all fierce women.💕
However, all things must come to an end and I would like to announce that I will not be producing barrel races next year. 😢
You may see me helping at the odd race, but I have a lot on my plate and I swore if I ever became that crabby barrel racing producer I would quit and I’m pretty close to it right now🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
I have watched barrel racing evolve over the years and one thing I would just like to leave you all with is:
Please be mindful of the event venues and your producers.
Please get out in the Arena and help.
There are a lot of parents and kids that never jump into the arena to give a hand-  sorry for picking on the young’uns
If you don’t know how to set a barrel pattern come early and learn how.
All of you hit barrels.
It doesn’t hurt to get in the arena and pick the odd one up … I was pretty disappointed 😔 to have to see Grant Fosberry get off his tractor and pick up somebody’s barrel the other day when he had donated so much of his time to fix the ground for us 😥
Read your entry forms. Enter properly and send your money at the same time.
And last but NOT least try not to contact your race producer day of I guarantee you they have many irons in the 🔥

Second race will start approximately 15 minutes after the end of race 1

Big Rake = after 50 race 1
In between race 1 & 2

Please also see the last post as I made an error and didn’t charge the Arena fee for race 2
 This will be on your honor, but if you could either bring $10 in cash, (exact change would be amazing) or e-transfer $10 to hurricane barrels
I would be most appreciative.

I will not have the opportunity to go back and double check that everybody who runs race 2 has paid their Arena fee however, I think we would like to be able to come back to JP Arena and they deserve to be paid for their time and effort to help us produce this race.💕

OH BOY... this is going to be a race!!!

I have 87 Open entries in Race 1 and still have to count Race 2!!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT

I am still waiting on a few entry fees, don't forget to send those in so you can be in the draw!!!

FIRST THE BAD NEWS ... I forgot to charge an Arena Fee for Race 2

THEN THE GOOD NEWS... The Race 2 Arena Fee, will ONLY be $10.00

I am asking everyone who entered Race 2 to pay this (I'm so very sorry)
Could you send me $10 by etransfer OR bring $10 to the race?

I will not have the time to make sure this is paid... so it will be on your honour

Also, I could use a few helpers, I am happy to refund $15.00 to anyone who could help pick barrels, and work the gate
If I could round up about 10 people, everyone would only have to do a short while so if you have a few minutes before or after your run, or you are a parent or spouse - your help would be greatly appreciated
