You always love the stories of unexpected River Monsters. Here is Michael Bier with his 40" pike that he landed using 6lb test and an ⅛Oz jig. Both the fish and fisherman are doing well, Michael hopes it will be someone else's 40"+ fish some day.

I know it has been a while since I posted. In that time we have made many upgrades and have had several success stories. On the season fishing has been at the mercy of mother nature. Temps have been all over the board, no rain, pressures up and down. Bear hunters crushed it, 3 bears night one with the final hunter closing the deal on night 3.
Tonight I had the opportunity to catch a few photos of the eclipse, and a quick photo of the milky way.

It's like seeing an old friend! I love this time.of year at camp. Weather permitting they come out pretty regularly.

Cole Conradt and Maddy Sargent double up to complete another bear season. Let the argument about who's was bigger begin. Almost identical bears withing minutes of each other.

While I would love to tell you that this is rain coming down, it is not. The smoke has moved in thick. The worst smoke I have seen in my years of owning camp.

Needed to run down River today to get a little work done before the guests went fishing. Sometimes you need to take a minute and just soak it all in.
