A bit about Skye:
-Skye was a competitive dancer at SWADA.
-Artist specializing in dance theatre

Meet your main teacher, Jill.

Jill started dancing around 8 when a friend brought her to a class. After her friend quit, Jill kept dancing, eventually doing competitive dance until she graduated.She danced recreationally throughout her undergrad in Waterloo and at various Toronto studios for another decade after.

She fashions her class after her favourite weekly choreography class in Toronto, doing a nice long stretch before tackling a piece anyone with a dance background can work through (no matter how long it's been).

Her goal is to move with fellow dancers in a safe and fun environment—and tap into her performance skills—each week.

My first set of dance classes for former dancers is happening Monday nights for the next 6 weeks (with a break at Easter). 🩰🐰

Join us at Mane Street & Co. for a feel-good, low-pressure class with stretching and fun choreo each week (lyrical, jazz, and/or contemporary styles).

Modifications will be available based on ability or injuries. There are no big jumps or turning sequences required, but having a few years of ballet/jazz foundations at some point in your past will be helpful.

Classes are $18 drop-in—or get all 6 for a small discount.
