As our 2026 Spring Bear Season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to reflect on what was one of the most challenging starts to a season that we've seen in years.
Late winter hung on longer than expected, leaving us with nearly two feet of snow followed by over a foot of water in many areas. Instead of spending time behind a computer, we spent countless hours in the bush clearing trails, fighting mud and water, keeping roads open, and making sure our bait sites stayed active and ready for our hunters.
Despite the difficult conditions, the hard work paid off. We are proud to say that 29 of our 31 bear hunters successfully harvested their bears this spring. More importantly, we had a camp full of great people, made new friendships, welcomed returning hunters, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
A huge thank you goes out to all of our hunters for your patience, trust, and support throughout the season. We also want to thank our guides, staff, family, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this season a success.
We're grateful for the opportunity to do what we love in the beautiful boreal forest of Northern Saskatchewan, and we're already looking forward to another exciting fall hunting season.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us this spring. Safe travels, and we'll see you in the bush this fall!
