I get it. It can be super overwhelming BUT until you’ve mastered CONSISTENT:
• 8-10 hours of sleep
• lots of steps. 8-10k sure. But just increase from where you’re currently at
• Eat enough protein and fibre (fiber?? I’m tripping 😂)
• Lift heavy s**t 3 times a week
• Do at LEAST one thing every day that makes you HAPPY.

Once you do this consistently, then we can tweak and get specific with your training. Put your phone down, go touch a tree and put your feet in the dirt/lake/grass.

Yup. You and only you are responsible for your health. Genetics play a role BUT your daily habits have a WAY bigger impact. Stop playing victim and start taking responsibility.

My top 5 tips for staying in a calorie deficit if you’re trying to lean out and lose some fat.

1. Save your will power for outside of the house. Set yourself up for success by leaving the treats out of the house.
2. Put your snacks in a bowl. Don’t eat them out of the bag.
3. Log. Your. Food. You are probably consuming more food than you think. This includes the bites you take while you’re making meals too.
4. Plan your meals. Again- you need to set yourself up for success. If you aren’t prepared, you leave room for poor decision making.
5. Move. Your fu***ng body. Good lord. 2000 steps a day is not enough.

Disclaimer: I asked Chris to unrack my barbell after I added weight for my deadlifts the other day. I CAN lift it, but don’t always want to 💁🏼‍♀️
