Do you want your kids to have fun and develop some basic sport skills? Do you want your kids out of the house during the day for an entire week? and .park306 are now offering Summer camps!⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Our mission: ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We will provide a safe, inclusive space for children of all skill levels and sport backgrounds. Our goal is to improve movement literacy and develop the basic skills of sport performance. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Children will participate in four sport specific sessions per day (two in the morning, two in the afternoon). Sessions will include skill development in the following sport areas: soccer, track & field, Ultimate Frisbee, football, softball and baseball. The SPARK PARK will also be used for activities that will include hand-eye coordination, teamwork, cooperation, and of course – playing on the Ninja warrior course! ⁠⠀

Long Term Athlete Development is a term that is often mentioned in the same context as the Spark Park. In previous posts we have talked about the numerous benefits of quality daily physical activity, but in light of all that has gone on over the past few weeks it is important to take a closer look at the impact of inactivity on our country.⠀
⠀
In the months to come, re-grounding in the health and wellness of this country will be of utmost importance and it starts with helping our young athletes find their own unique love of movement and activity. ⠀
