KDF GRAD SPOTLIGHT: Lexi Butcher

“Takeaway” - My time at KDF has given me so many memories and lasting friendships that I will cherish forever. It will always be a place I hold dear to my heart, as it was such a big part of my life. My favourite part of this season was spending time with my fellow grads backstage and cheering them on at our final competitions.

“Next Chapter” - Next year I will be studying kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, and I’m excited to see where that takes me!

“Takeaway” - During my time at KDF, I have created memories and friendships that will last me a lifetime! I am grateful for the opportunities and teachers that have helped shape who I am and I will always cherish the moments spent back stage with my teammates.

“Takeaway” - My biggest takeaway from my time at KDF is the incredible memories and friendships that I will carry with me for years to come. I’m so grateful to the teachers who supported, encouraged, and inspired me throughout my journey. KDF will always be a special and unforgettable chapter of my life.

KDF GRAD SPOTLIGHT: Sydney Ling

“Takeaway” - KDF has truly been my second home, and I am so grateful for the friendships, memories, and training that shaped me both as a dancer and as a person. Thank you to all the teachers who supported and believed in me throughout the years. My favourite part of this season was sharing unforgettable moments on and off stage with my fellow senior dancers.

“Next Chapter” - Next year, I will be attending Nursing prep at the University of Saskatchewan. I also hope to come back to the studio to train for my Advanced 2 RAD ballet exam and possibly join an alumni team.

KDF GRAD SPOTLIGHT: Eliana Godoy

“Takeaway” - KDF has given me so many opportunities that have turned into life long memories. My favourite experiences during my time were getting to assist the younger classes and travelling to Vancouver for Fuse. I am forever grateful for everything dance has given me.

“Next Chapter” - I hope to attend Saskatchewan Polytechnic to pursue a career in MRT.

KDF GRAD SPOTLIGHT: Taylor Van Veen

“Takeaway” - My favourite take away from my time at Kristy’s has got to be all of the friendships that I have made. I came to the studio a little later than what is ‘normal’ to most, and I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. Everyone here is so welcoming, especially the teachers, and it truly feels like home at KDF. ❤️

“Next Chapter” - Next year my plans are to attend Edward’s School of Business at the U of S for my Commerce degree. I plan to keep dance and the studio in my life, and potentially dance on an alumni team here at KDF.

KDF GRAD SPOTLIGHT: Taylor Lipka

“Takeaway” - My favourite memory was bonding with the seniors as we competed and performed together for the last time. I also loved getting the opportunity to perform in downtown Disney. I’m so lucky to have found dance and grow so much through KDF!

“Next Chapter” - I will be attending USask in the fall for kinesiology, and we’ll see where that takes me! I’m not ready to let dance go just yet, so I hope to keep dance a part of my life somehow!

KDF GRAD SPOTLIGHT: Cadyn Niebergall

“Takeaway” - I am so grateful for KDF as it has been my second home for the past 15 years. Some of my favourite memories from this season were cheering on the other grads from the wings at competition and performing my last tap solo. Growing up at KDF has shaped me into the person I am today and I will forever cherish all of the memories and friendships I made along the way.

“Next Chapter” - In the fall I will be attending USask to pursue a bachelor of science in psychology.
