I invite everyone to come check out my classes and join the party!! I look forward to meeting you! I became a licensed Zumba® instructor in March 2011. In March 2012, I became a SPRA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and I have been teaching for the City of Saskatoon and some of your community associations ever since. Check out my website to find a class near you! Some more about my background:
I joined a new friend for an introductory salsa lesson at a local nightclub in January 2004, and became instantly obsessed. Since then, I have been dancing socially at local nightclubs, and performing at local events as much as possible, in addition to learning from anyone and everyone willing to teach me! I have trained in salsa with local and international instructors. My education has also included hip hop, ballet, international latin and standard, west coast swing, and most recently kizomba and dancehall. I became a teacher assistant in 2005 with The Studio School of Dance (Calgary) and the University of Calgary Student Dance Club, and discovered my love of teaching. I was invited to teach for the U of C Student Dance Club in the fall of 2005, and proceeded to contribute countless volunteer hours promoting, organizing parties, teaching, and developing the current syllabus. Since moving to Saskatoon, I continued to feed my love of salsa, through teaching salsa and bachata classes for Grupo Maya and Saskatoon Salsa, but it is through Zumba® that I have embraced my desire to help others improve their lives. We can get fit, be part of a great community, and make the world brighter... all while having a great time! Come check it out - you won't regret it!
