Shout out to the SMAA Boys Baseball and Girls Fastball families who came out to the Legion yesterday to volunteer their time. From loading and unloading water bottles to doing multiple rounds of garbage cleanup, your help was truly appreciated!!

Hello SMAA Families,

With the warmer weather arriving, we want to share a quick reminder about our heat policy for baseball.

SMAA **does not cancel games due to heat**. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to use their best judgment based on their players’ comfort and safety. If a team chooses not to attend because of the heat, that game will **not be rescheduled**. It will be recorded as a **forfeit**, or if both teams mutually agree not to play, it will be recorded as a **tie**.

Please ensure players stay hydrated, take breaks as needed, and listen to their bodies during hot conditions.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the season running smoothly.
