Last practice today with the team for Ash before her family moves to Halifax, Nova Scotia this week where once she heals up some injuries, she will be continuing her journey there training with my good friend and national team coach Master Helbert Porter.

It has been a true blessing being able to coach and guide such a talented young athlete who truly loves our sport so much. This girl walked in the school around 4 years ago as a eager white belt and her drive & determination only increased as the years went on.

After only a few competitions she started fighting in the black belt category and winning matches against some of the top girls her weight in the province.

I am very excited to follow her journey. We will all miss you so much and thank you for the great memories. 🇵🇭

Colour belt testing Saturday begins at 9:00 AM… Those participating please try to arrive by 8:30 to register, stretch and warm up.
