Brand new to Jiu Jitsu? Feeling a little nervous? You’re not alone—and you’re exactly who this course is for.

This Beginner Jiu Jitsu Course is designed specifically for first-timers who want to learn in a safe, structured, and welcoming environment. You’ll train alongside other beginners and be guided step-by-step by professional coaches using a proven curriculum. No experience required.

By the end of the course, you’ll not only understand the fundamentals—you’ll feel confident, capable, and ready to join regular Jiu Jitsu classes.

What’s Included:

✅ 8 small-group classes (maximum 16 students)
✅ Train exclusively with fellow beginners
✅ Fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu strategy, movement, and safety
✅ Free uniform (gi) and belt
✅ Minimum of two coaches at every session

This 4-week program includes two classes per week:

Led by BJJ black belt 𝐊𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐜𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 and MMA veteran 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐢 𝐉𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐳𝐢𝐞𝐥, you’ll gain practical tools to protect yourself and feel more confident in your body and your surroundings.

• How to spot danger before it happens (situational awareness)
• Simple, effective self-defense and escape techniques

New schedule as of February 1st!

We have made a few changes to our current schedule.

TUESDAY
We are adding a no gi class at 7pm.
The 6pm gi foundations class will have optional sparring incorporated into the hour.

THURSDAY
We have removed the 6pm gi foundations class and moved it to Saturday at 12pm.

Friday no gi foundations will be taught by Randall Gordon
Saturday gi foundations class will be taught by Jake Sheehan

The Butcher Shop class schedule will continue to adapt and grow as we identify the needs and expectations of our members.
