ASAHI Karate-Do Asahi Karate-Do was founded by Shihan Hussin Osman @ Chin Haw has more than 500 members in 10 secondary & 15 primary schools in Kuching Division.

Asahi Karate-Do was founded by Shihan Hussin Osman @ Chin Haw in 2003, and teaches the karate styles of Wado Ryu, Shotokan, Sh*to Ryu and Goju Ryu. It has an active membership of over 500 karatekas. For such a young association it has a remarkable track record, hosting the Sarawak Open in 2007, finishing 3rd overall against national and state teams at the first KOI Asian Regional Championship in D

ecember 2007 (with 7 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals), and winning four bronze medals at the 17th KOI World Cup in Latina, Italy, in 2008. Asahi Karate-Do believes in nurturing young talent. Through the establishment of karate clubs in various primary & secondary schools in Kuching, Bau, Serian, Lundu & Sematan, Asahi Karate-Do is able to its ambition. Currently, Asahi Karate-Do has established karate clubs in 10 secondary schools and 15 primary schools in those regions. Asahi Karate-Do is affiliated to the Sarawak Karate-Do Association (SAKA) as well as the Malaysian Karate Federation (Makaf) and the Kobe Osaka International (KOI).
